My friend, do you want to be rich? Do you believe in the saying that money is the root of all evil? The Bible says "It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God." (Matthew 19:24). Whoa! Does this mean that Bill Gates will probably wind up in hell? Of course not!
This is my opinion, if you can be rich and still focus on your heart being in the right place then money is not a problem. But if you put your greed before others need then there lies the root of the evil of money. Bottom line, it's just a matter of where your heart is. You can't serve two masters at the same time, either you serve one and despise the other.
So go ahead, be rich, earn as much as you can and then serve God through your richness, it's just material things and is not required in heaven.
The purpose of being rich is to help others. The more you give, the more you will receive, the more you share, the more you bless the world, the more you are doing the act of serving God, the Master.
